Esther Neema is the Executive Director, Dream Tribe Network Africa, a network of entrepreneurs, with a goal to fuel 1000 dreams. Current Top 35 under 35 awardee, 2020, and a Top Woman in Business Nominee. Her Innovation Dream Tribe Network was selected as one of the most innovative business ideas of the governor's start-up challenge.  She is also a YALI(Young African Leaders Initiative Fellow) and currently Co- running TEDxKibera together with George Kevin, who is the founder.

She is also the Head of Publicity, Africa Youth Development Commission, and former Kenya Representative, for the commission.

Esther Neema is a journalist and professional communication specialist. Starting her career journey early in 2006 as a writer has accorded her more than 15 years in communication and training as of the year 2021. This was informed by international recognition for her writings on both the Commonwealth young writers and Young anthology young writers platforms.




She also started acting on stage at 19 years old, and would later continue to feature in a number of films, inclusive of Inherited and Fifth Avenue, a Maisha magic film, as well as Karen Blixen film shot by a french crew here in Kenya. However, a large part of her acting career was spent on the theater stage at the Phoenix players, where she acted, A raisin in the sun, House of Thomas Bernada among other plays. She has also been a commercial model, featuring in a number of advertisements.

Esther Neema has a degree in Public relations from Daystar University and is also pursuing a master's in Development communication at the University of Nairobi. This has gained her entry into the media space as a public relations practitioner as well as a  media personality. She also has a diploma in French at the Alliance Francaise where she had also begun to sing.



At Daystar she worked at Shine FM radio station as a presenter, and also worked as a Team Building coordinator of small groups and corporates with DOULOS servant leaders. Equally was the school’s MC in many of the events inclusive of Galla dinners, crazy Olympics, award ceremonies, open days, among others.

Outside school, she worked in communities at the Hot sun Foundation and the Ministry of Youth Kitale. This informed her passion for community work.

She started hosting a radio show, whilst at the university, on Shine FM.  2012, she was selected for as a Top presenter program at Radio Africa, following a Talent search where seven out of 200 participants were selected to be trained in all aspects of Radio. 


This was closely followed by her experience a talk show host on KBC, the national broadcasting house, hosting Expressions, a woman's talk show. Later she hosted another show, The Amazing World of Engineering, and also produced two major shows with a huge following at the Pwani TV, Uongozi and Uhondobecoming one of the first TV producers. 



In high school, she attended Loreto Convent Valley road where she was best in French for three consecutive years. This made her the French club chair lady. Prior to this, she was in St. Mary's immaculate where she was an assistant head girl from class six and became head girl in class seven and eight.

Having an exchange session with women

Even for countries that have not believed themselves to be enterprising, societies will be forced to think of new ways of being, so as to industrialize, develop and grow.
